Over the past year, Pet Heaven has been fortunate to play a supportive role in improving the lives of vulnerable dogs and cats across South Africa. With immense appreciation for the trust placed in us by our customers and partners, we have focused our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts on supporting shelters, community pets, and the organisations that care for them.

Honoured to Support Leading Animal Welfare NPOs
Pet Heaven is grateful to have contributed to several remarkable non-profit organisations, including Sidewalk Specials, Kitty & Puppy Haven, African Tails, and others. We have been able to provide donations of dog and cat food, aiding shelters and community outreach programmes with one lighter burden to shoulder.

We are also thankful for the generosity of our customers, who continue to contribute through the optional donations with their orders. Their support has allowed us to extend our reach beyond what we could achieve alone.

Proud Partnership With Sidewalk Specials
Among our partnerships, we feel especially privileged to support the impactful work of Sidewalk Specials. Their community-based outreach and mass-sterilisation initiatives in areas such as De Doorns have helped reduce animal suffering at its source. Offering free sterilisations, vaccinations, and veterinary treatments to pet owners in underserved communities, Sidewalk Specials plays a vital role in long-term welfare improvement.

Being able to supply the food needed for these animals—whether for recovery, ongoing care, or community distribution—has been a meaningful contribution for Pet Heaven. We recognise the profound difference Sidewalk Specials makes and are grateful to stand alongside them as they continue their life-changing work.

Supporting Community Events and Seasonal Needs
This year on 5 October 2025, World Animal Day, Pet Heaven also had the pleasure of sponsoring and participating in activities such as Paws-a-While, an event that connects over 2000 pet lovers with 40 welfare organisations.

Creating safe, joyful spaces for pets and their humans to gather is something we enjoy, and we feel privileged to help bring these events to life.

When winter approaches, we are heartened by the response to our blanket drives for shelter animals. By helping collect and promote donations, we’ve been able to offer some comfort and warmth to pets facing cold conditions in shelters across the country.

A Year Defined by Gratitude and Hope
At the heart of our CSR efforts is a simple truth: Pet Heaven is deeply grateful for the opportunity to support organisations and communities that care for vulnerable animals. We recognise that our ability to help is made possible by the passionate work of our partner NPOs and the generosity of our customers. Looking ahead, we hope to do even more—building on this foundation to create meaningful and sustainable impact. As a team of animal lovers, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that improve the wellbeing of pets across South Africa, and we are excited about the difference we can continue to make together.

Pet Heaven worked on making a difference within our communities. Which is why we partnered with Fallen Angel's, Woodrock Animal Rescue and Dog's Life to give the gift of warmth to the furkids living in shelters.

Working with customers to add a blanket to their order to donate, we gathered them on their behalf and distributed them to Fallen Angel's and Woodrock Animal Rescue and their furry friends in need, bringing in a total of 640 blankets, matching and beating our goal of 500.
